I think it's one of those "she cheated, I left" stories. In the first scene she finds him sunbathing in an European (I think) beach, and stands before him. He sees her but feigns being asleep since she can't see his eyes behind his sunglasses.
Does it ring any bells?
She's a redhead? the beach was Greece? Crete? It's ringing faint bells.

No idea, that scene is what I remember. Also, she gets tired of looking at his (supposedly) sleeping face, swears loudly and stomps out of there.
