I was reading about a cheated on man who quit his job and took his sailboat and was caught in a storm in the Gulf of Mexico, lost his boat, was recused and robbed,lost his memory, operated on by a doctor in Belize. I believe he wrote One man One woman.

"That Look of Love" by A.A. Nemo. I would provide a link but I don't know how to do that.

@PotomacBob

Just put your cursor over the link and right click. Select 'Copy link location', and the link will be placed in your scrapbook, then you can paste it anywhere you want.

For tablets you usually press the screen by the URL and hold. After a few seconds a small pop-up will have a "Copy" button. To paste, have a text bar then press and hold the screen and a "Paste" option will pop up.

At least that's how it works on my Android. May differ for iPad.

Works exactly the same with IOS devices (3d touch into the address bar and you get a pop up to copy the addy). You can also just tap the address and it'll select the URL. From there another tap gives you several options including copy.

MS Office has something called a scrapbook. It's like a clipboard that holds multiple items. You can move them around the office apps. IT's sort of like having a clipboard with a pad of paper on it. It's only part of Office, though.

It's called a clipboard manager and there is a variation of those available for all operating systems. There's even a clipboard plug-in for Firefox. Clipboard managers existed long before MS knew how to create one in Office :D

To be fair, Windows has actually had a built-in multiple-item clipboard as far back as version 3.1 (1992), it's just that most users don't know how to access it.

In the old days you had to use a tool called ClipBook Viewer (part of Windows) to view and manipulate the clipboard. This utility was removed for Vista (2006) and later since most users didn't need to access the clipboard outside of programs that could handle more robust clipboard managers (eg, embedded in Office rather than in the OS).

The only reason I remember the old clipboard is that I used to use it for batch file editing and other 90s era tricks.

Clipboard. I couldn't think of the correct name when I wrote that.

Windows 10 1909 has the multiple entry clipboard. Don't know if earlier versions have had it.

Copy images and text from one PC to another with a cloud-based clipboard. Select Start ๎ž‚ > Settings ๎œ“ > System ๎Ÿธ > Clipboard ๎ฟ.Sign in with your Microsoft account, and then use the toggles to turn on both Clipboard history and Sync across devices. You can also use the Win + V shortcut to easily access your clipboard.

You only have to sign in to a Microsoft account if you want to sync across devices.
