It's driving me nuts. A long story, resembles Kenny the Kansan. Boy goes to live on a circle of stately homes, plays tennis, goes to military school, seems like the father is a judge. Meets a girl, om a dare. at a dance with a girls school, has to walk across the floor to ask her. I want to read it again, but can't remember the title or author.
