I am not sure if this is even possible but I am looking for a story called Runaway by Sparky. It doesn't seem to be on the site anymore. I corresponded with the author for a while as we had a similar British heritage. But we have lost touch. Any help locating this story would be greatly appreciated.

It was set in England, a engineer that travelled a lot for work came across a abused runaway and helped her.
There are references to it under a Google search for Sparkyman1961 runaway, but I don't think it wise to trust the sites that come up with that.

I looked on that site that steals some of the SOL name and adds Sex stories. There are not just dozens but hundreds of stories stolen either from this site or a very large number of authors who might have posted them elsewhere. Perhaps some of the authors might want to reclaim them and take them off that site.
Oyster50 might be able to give you some insight into this story, he was going to have this writer add some to his community stories but for some reason it never got much beyond the first chapter.

It's a sad commentary on modern society when a person's honor is traded for a stolen story.
Sparkyman1961 runaway
Thanks folks, someone has gotten in touch who may be able to help out. I had a hard drive crash and my copy was lost. I also reached out to Sparky1961 but I fear the email I have is no longer in use.
I remember the author saying he was going to remove that story on a certain date - although he did not say why - and then doing just that. The blog entries may still be visible.
Now I'm back on my PC I could look it up.
It was this story - https://storiesonline.net/s/72782 - but he obviously changed his name before deleting the rest of his stories as well.
If only I knew how to work the way back machine.

You have to understand that the Wayback Machine makes partial snapshots of sites. To get a complete site (i.e. a book posted over a period of time) you have to look through all the snapshots to gather all the pages. It's sometimes a lot of work and there's no guarantee all pages are available.
