Ernest has written several stories based in the time period, Some send back, and some straight period stories. I don't blame him. They have all been enjoyable, and when he has done as much research as is obvious in his stories, one might as well use it more than once.

Hal is not a period piece. I like the story and am looking forward to a continuation, but it's set in present time.
