I've been searching for a story I read here a while back and haven't been able to find it.
Not a time travel/doOver story, but some aliens alter an early human to make him smarter, more empathetic. They end up equipping him with "modern" clothes and tools. The whole harem thing happens.
I can't seem to find the combination of search tags to bring it up. I did make repeated efforts to find it before breaking down and posting.
