I forget who wrote it but I think there was a story titled- I Won a spaceship- along those lines,unfortunately taken down by author.
It was published under the name Harrison Park. The author is known here on SOL as Connard Wellingham. On his blog there's a link to amazon but a search for "harrison park i won a spaceship" will find it too.
