Lost story

Sfusa ๐Ÿšซ

This story takes place in S.California, mc moves into a beach house and then his neighbors young daughter decides he is gonna be hers. Mom and Dad both go along with her plans because Dad is as much older than Mom as mc is daughter. Read it yrs ago and now i can't find it. Please help.

I remember reading this story but for the life of me can't recall the name. I'm pretty sure the girl tells the guy she has someone she's in love with but he doesn't know it and the guy is clueless that it's him.

I'm wracking my brain for the guys name, but the only one I can come up with is 'Richard' but a search on that will likely prove fruitless, and I'm not even sure it's the right name. I'd love to read it again!

Thats a plus, i cant remember any names but shes like 11 or 12 yrs old, but so was her mom when she grabbed her husband.

Also when he doesnt respond to her she sits on his front porch for days until he finally figures it out and admits his love for hed. She is definitely persistent. Lol

@Michael Loucks

I remember her parents kept telling him it was his house and he made the rules.

That sounds like one of Oyster50's stories. He does the young girl, grown man a lot in his stories.

I don't think it's one of his. And the other details @Sfusa has are correct (at least as I remember the story). Maybe sleeping on it will help. :-)

Not one of oyster50s stories, im very familiar with oyster50 stories. Oh well, one of these days i will figure it out. Seems to me her grandparents were in on it too...

Is mc an author? Although the one I'm thinking is in the Northeast coast. His book is made into a movie and he falls in love main star, and eventually the girl. The girl also becomes an author as well.

No hes a just graduated college student. Not sure if they mention what he does. I seem to remember hes only about 10-12 yrs older than she is. Hes in his early 20s and shes just barely past puberty.

I honestly dont think the story got as far as her being an adult, but i could be wrong on that

The story you are looking for is one of my all time favorites. I found it first on Kirsten's Archive out of ASSTR but it is on SOL as well.

"Brenda-A Love Story" by Tom Bombadil

I tried to link it, but I'm doing something wrong.

One of the parts I loved was when her mother was talking to him about him. ROTFLMAO funny.

ETA Damn, now I have to reread it! I wanted to get new tires today!

You were right about The Kristen Archives; it's still there.

I'm positive that's where I first read the story, many years ago. She had a great collection.

I agree. It is too bad that the downfall of ASSTR has pretty much led to its demise. At least that is my assumption, since the site hasn't seen updates in a while.

I hope "demise" is too strong a term. I can live with no updates, but a whole lotta people would be furious if twenty plus years of stories just disappeared.

There are several 'web vacuum' programs out there that allow one to download an entire set of web pages. If you really don't want to lose some of those stories that might be a solution.

20 plus years of some damned good stories!!

karactr ๐Ÿšซ

I'm pretty sure all of the stories on Kirsten's are actually posted on ASSTR. They may also be posted elsewhere, but they are just links to the ASSTR postings. Even the search function on Kirsten's is the ASSTR search, which is why it fails any time I try to use it. I would hate to lose access to that archive, but if ASSTR falls, so goes Kirsten's.

Shame really. I think she cultivated some of the best ASSTR had to offer. Definitely my first exposure to Beating Off Bob, Mercy Slayer, Gungadick, Tom Bombadil among others.

I started looking at that Archive, but abandoned it when a whole lot of stories marked "Extreme Pedo" raised their ugly heads.

BDSM, rape, mind control, racism, right-wing rants are some of my personal red flags that kill stories....each of us has our own turnoffs. Each to their own.
