Trying to reread a BDSM story, but all I can remember is that it had a young guy that had to learn about how to properly use whips and whatnot. He spent a lot of time training how and became friends with the owner of a sex shop.
I thought I found it with Sandcastles by Nightshade, but that wasn't it
Doesnt appear to be any of these. The guy is under 18 for a large portion of the story, if not the whole thing
IIRC, The Benefits of Friends by Memory Heap has a theme along those lines but it's not the predominant theme of the story.

I looked up that story and was disappointed that if not for the review I wouldn't have known the story included swapping since it wasn't coded. That's a known turn-off for some readers and I consider omitting the tag bad form to put it kindly. I won't be reading that or any of the author's other stories since I apparently can't trust the tags.
