2 lost stories

rymermatthew221

The first story I'm looking for is about a man who sells everything he owns to buy a mountain, which is haunted. The mountain has caves with hidden treasure, he eventually creates a vineyard, buys a radio station, and runs for public office. Story 2 is about a guy who's down on his luck and discovers he's santa's next of kin and has to go to the North Pole to get things running again.

The first story sounds like Recluse and Ghost by Dual writer

i4pepsi2, thank you very much!! Recluse and Ghost is the first story I'm looking for. I've looked on ten different sites for over 6 months it was driving me nuts.

I sent a DM with a probable answer. Did you receive it?

I'm interested in the Santa story as well. If it's not on SOL, please include me in any DM link.

Same Here, kindly include me in the DM

(Had been tempted to just post "Me Too!" but thought this would be more polite)

Me Too

If you are the second person to request something, why isn't it "Me two"?

If a ballet dancer wears a tutu, why isn't it spelled twotwo? Or maybe toto or tootoo. And day 22 of any month should be ballet day.

Haven't we briefly had the discussion about bad puns in the recent past?

Okay maybe not a discussion, just an observation on my part.

It cannot, realistically, be "Me two" because that is something my granddaughter would say. Actually, that would be "Me five" now, but you get the idea.

It is tutu because it's French. Let us please not get into a discussion of how odd French words got incorporated into English. Really, it derives from cucu, I mean "buttocks"!? Seriously, the French can be weird.

"Toto" is an American rock band formed in 1976 and still performing today. Quite good too, if you like that sort of thing. Which I do. Also, "Toto" is a character in the Oz books by L. Frank Baum. Not of lot of speaking dialogue, but quite active. The series is quite good as well, if you like that sort of thing. Which I do.

Tootoo is a former professional hockey player. Also, from what I understand, quite good too, if you like that sort of thing. Which I don't.

And couldn't it just as easily be small caliber day? Probably more prevalent in the US than ballet.

Edit: How do I directly quote from a previous post in my reply? The only way I know is copy/paste. I seem to have forgotten how to do it directly, if I ever knew.
