Cash me outside

I think there was a story about Danielle Bregoli, the cash me outside girl from Dr. Phil. Did it vanish?

Didn't see it. But there's a video matching that name on xnxx, if you like...

Not her. The physical resemblance is superficial at best, but most telling - the tattoos do not match. Not to mention Bregoli is only 15.

I did a search on Bregoli, and n-o-t-h-i-n-k

Probably should have tried the full name.

I confined my search to this site. Did it fail because "Bregoli" was not a discrete word?

This is why your search failed.

Why on earth did you do that?

The OP explicitly mentions an appearance on a well known daytime TV talk show.

That's only true if you're US-centric. I'd never heard of that show until I checked for it as my first thought was it was a story about such a show, but then, I'm not from the US and I'm not conversant with all of the modern US TV crap.

TV crap

May be redundant, if it is on TV it usually isn't worth watching. Some sports programs provide the exception that tests the rule.

I'm sure that's true, but that show mentioned is not on the TV in my rural Australian area - well, I've not seen it, but I don't watch much TV now, haven't for years.

1 - I think you mean US-centric or similar
2 - I have never heard of the show either and also thought it was a story about a show.

While Dr Phil's talk show is produced in the US, and the US is the main audience, it is syndicated internationally.

Additionally , Dr Phil McGraw has more than just the day time talk show. He has 9 NYT best seller books that have been published world wide in 39 languages.

t is syndicated internationally.

While that may mean it's shown on a station in each country listed it doesn't mean it's shown on every station within that country or on every affiliated station within that country. Then you have to consider the broadcast time as well.

There are two Australian soapies that are internationally syndicated (Home and Away, Neighbours) yet I know people here in Australia who've never seen an episode despite the shows running for many years due to the shows being aired during the time they're at work.

On a similar note I know Oprah is big in the US and I suspect it may also be international syndicated, but I've never seen a show on TV and am aware of it only via mentions in US news media when she makes political comments.

I've never seen his show either. Not having ever seen the show and not being aware of it's existence are two completely different things.

Not having ever seen the show and not being aware of it's existence are two completely different things.

That's not always the case with television programs. The way people become aware of most TV shows is either via watching the show, seeing an ad for the show on the station they're watching, reading about it in the TV magazines, if something on it makes the news, or someone tells them about it. Thus, if it's not on a station you watch, you don't do the other things you'll never be aware of it.

I have to say, the main reason I'm familiar with Dr. Phil is that my mother enjoyed watching it. She was a retired psychiatric social worker, and found it of interest how he approached the different situations.

And I've never lived outside the US. So it's quite likely that there are those in this country who aren't aware of it.

nah, way before them we had things like Homicide, Division 4, Blue Heelers, A Country Practice, Skippy, Whiplash, The Box, Number 10, Neighbours, Flying Doctors, Prisoners, Home and Away, and a bunch of other locally made shows.

Almost forgot Boney.

UK free-to-air TV recently showed the first series of 'The Heart Guy', which I enjoyed. According to adverts they're seriously plugging a series called 'Sea Patrol' but, to me, it looks dire.

Netflix recently started showing a new series called "Tidelands," which is a completely Australian production. Wife & I watched Season 1, but we agreed that a more accurate name for the show would have been "Tittielands." :D
Pretty good fantasy series. Looking forward to Season 2. Hope it happens.
