To be fair there is absolutely no obligation for anyone here to answer a question. It is worth noting that posting a question three times in such a short period isn't doing the poster any favours. A better option would be to 'bump' the original thread.

Definitely the only correct way. If there were an answer in this thread someone later searching the forum could find the original thread without an answer an be disappointed. Bumping the original thread will see that the answer can be found or that there is no answer.
