The MC is in a high school biology lab and one of the
other students sets off an explosion (m80 or cherry
bomb) to protest the dissecting of the animals.
The MC may have powers to (stop or slow down time, or
speed himself up in the time stream). He see that some
of the exploded glass is going to possibly kill
another student so he has to adjust where the glass
hit the student. He can't stop the student from
getting hit because it would not look right because
of the glass flight path.
