I am looking for a story I read a few years ago. MC is big and strong but slow mentally. He plays football where he recieves a powerful hit to the head. When he wakes his brain has "rebooted", clearing the fog from his mind.
That is the only thing I recall without potentially confusing it with a different football-coming of age story. I tried search and google without finding it so any help is appreciated.
