Similar to Lazlong's Washed Up/Wagons Ho series. Polygamy/Polyandry story, possibly time travel also. Group travels west to Oregon and settles south of Portland. Someone kidnaps one of MC's wives of a different race and he returns to Portland or Vancouver to rescue her. Seem to recall it was either a long story or a series. Wasn't CMSix,s Oregon.

Thanks. The I Fell Through series is it. At first I couldn't find the author and ended up searching by title. It's THE Old Guy and listed in the T's, not the O's. Oops!
Really enjoyed those stories from The Old Guy. Such a pity that the final installment was left unfinished, as sadly is often the case.
He abandoned his last story early in 2008 but was obviously still logging in here in November 2014 - his stories have not been "Archived" yet.
