Kid writes story describing taking care of his girl.feeding her,giving her a bath etc. At the end it turns out he was doing it for a baby from a father's p.o.v

Was the language French.

I remember the scene but not the title or author.
The assignment was read by the female teacher, and is written so that the story can be misunderstood as a love story, but the last sentence...

I see that Joe did co-write it. I meant no disrespect to Joe; I just came to the story through John Wales page and didn't notice the byline.
