Main character is a Special Forces NCO who is eating lunch in a local cafe when he is involved with a young lady who needs his assistance in hiding from her former boyfriend's thugs. Also, the former boyfriend had placed all his illegal companies in her name so that he could not be indicted if the companies were caught by police/FBI.

That's it. Unfortunately it appears that the author abandoned it as it has not been updated in 16 months. Too bad as it had the makings of a very good story.
