Sometime in the last 2 years I read a story with the following content:
Time travel/ Alternate Universe
Texas Ranger
Large animal - cross between dog and bear who are telepathic
Horse who is an AI in a robotic body
Aliens who are large bugs.
I really enjoyed it and thought I had saved it but can't find it. It may have been taken down to be published.

I don't remember where I go my copy from. Interesting story but it requires a very big dose of suspension of disbelief as one reads on.

I agree you have to suspend belief but so many stories, on this site, are the same. That's what makes them so much fun.

I believe "Oh, Hell No!" was posted on Thom's Yahoo group (now gone) several years ago.
Three of Thom's stories are on Banzai Ben's site but "Oh Hell No!" isn't one of them. The link will take you there but be advised there doesn't seem to have been any activity there for about five or six years. Thom also has four stories on SOL and three on Fine Stories, none the one you're looking for.

I haven't seen anything new from the writer in sometime. I have a copy but from what I have read here in the forums, I am not sure if it would be right to share it.
I would contact the author (terriblethom) using his SOL page -- he responded to my email a few months ago.
I did contact him, thanks. He said that he had taken it off the site to finish it but then had some health problems.
