Try picking out a fairly distinctive line (preferably with no punctuation) and 'googling' for the quoted line (enclose in double quotes). You'll probably get no matches with the quotes, but you may be lucky. Note that this will not find anything behind the member wall on SOL, but if you choose something from early in the first chapter, there's a possibility it's in the sample text. If you're sure it's from SOL, do the same (with a shortish line) in the 'quick search' box on SOL's homepage; if it's still here, that should find it.
it came from SOL date stamp

I think I remember that one, mainly because I live in the Outer Banks, where he portrays the sound as being thousands of feet deep and rocky underneath (it's typically about 4' deep, up to 12' in the channel used by most boats, and is ALL sand). I studied Blackbeard, as that's standard in North Carolina education. Virginia might teach it too, but I seriously doubt that any other school system would (although young boys typically love the topic).
I can't remember the specifics, but Dark Blade may have been one of those who 'found religion' when they got remarried, and part of the deal was that they stop writing 'those disgusting sex stories!'
Ah, the things we surrender for boring missionary sex!
My impression was that Dark Blade was from the UK. We exchanged emails once and I thought his email address was a clear indication.
The author was Dark Blade, he also wrote:
