It was a story of a boy growing up on I believe a plantation, but they treated their slaves well. One day he saw his father have sex with one of the slaves, and I believe that's when his sexual education began. He would later have an arranged marriage with the daughter of another plantation.
At the end it was a report in present day and it talked about his family line and how that's as far back as he could trace it. This part I could be thinking of another story.
