I an probably not remembering this correctly, but I believe and least one of the writing team of J and J died. I don't remember what happened to the other member. I will try and find the reference if I can.
LD and Vlad. Thanks for the comment. I don't know where this thread is; as I said, I am new. But as to JoeJ, if this is true, it's really sad. I really enjoyed his writing. Twice Lucky, in fact, really got my attention, even though it was a do over/time travel, which normally doesn't appeal to me. Once I got past that though, I thought it was fantastic, and judging by the ratings, so did many others. What a shame he left it unfinished, with so many unanswered questions.
If, and only if, he truly abandoned it, perhaps someone out there could complete it. I know that is always difficult, picking up another author's story, but this, at least imho, is a story that deserves to be finished. Thanks for the help.

What questions? "Tales of the E-Kids" was posted in summer 2004, Joe J ceased posting towards the end of 2009 and Jonas in 2013. Joe J's work has not yet been "Premiumed" so he has at least logged in since the start of 2013.
Yes, but it takes place some time after when Joe J broke off. At that time Jake was running for the president nomination and his 2 kids were still in school. In the E-Kids Eamon is Jake Turner's grandson and Jake is the ex-president. AW also introduces more of Jake's "wives" and children.
Sparky, thanks for the info, but I finally got to read E-Kids, and I have to agree with Vlad. What questions were answered? I wouldn't even consider it a sequel. It was at best a fanfic, and not very good at that. By the writer's own admission, it was a sequel to his own story, Death By Fucking. Eamon was a grandson of Jake, but that's it. The story really rambled, and seemed to throw lots of politics in. I'm a middle of the roader liberatarian myself, but I don't like politics of either side in my erotica. If it is, it is best handled in the manner JoeJ did in Twice Lucky. And the connection to Twice Lucky is sketchy at best. While there was a bit of sci-fi in Twice, with the time travel, E-Kids was way over the sci-fi line. And whereas Jake's entire family was highly sexual, the E people, well they weren't quite nonsexual, but certa8nly they didn't fit in the scope of Twice. Plus, as Vlad said, it was posted when JoeJ was still posting. So other than borrowing some characters for a cameo, there was really no connection. Thanks anyway. And for anyone else who may know the whereabouts or status of my original question, I titled this J and J. But this is not a writing team. Jonas and JoeJ are two phenomenal, but separate writers. They have not posted in several years. Some more knowledgeable about this site than me have suggested they may have logged into their accounts, even if not posting stories. Both have unfinished stories I would kill, (not literally), to have them finish. If they read this, or anyone is in contact with them, I hope they consider posting more. And by all means, give them a read. Imho they are extremely talented.
