This is a story I read some time ago, but it was about a guy whose company or he had, invented this new paint for cars, but he pt it on his girlfriend and it made her skin look like metal. It also gave her super bouyancy and had some psychotropic properties where it increased her arousal.
More than that I'm not sure, but it is an interesting premise.
