I've looked through the tid bits of stories of his but can't find one that I thing he authored. Like many others, involves a fast boat, help from the feds every now an than with weapons. Traveled between FL and Cuban. Destroyed other boats. Had a radome on one of his supplied weapons.
Just finished WQN and it's not the one in my mind. I think that the MC was a maritime courier for just about anything, including radioactive material. Putin may have been in the story and the MC took him in because of low level radium poison.
