No, the scuttlebutt is the Feds got a court order to search their 'member database' to discover who's visiting the site (supposedly to uncover a 'ring' of pedophiles frequenting ASSTR). So, if you visit, be prepared to have a visit by the Feds and to have EVERY electronic device you own taken indefinitely from them until the case is resolved (likely never, as in most of these cases where they have no real evidence).

It's more likely you've been visiting too many 'fake news' forums. Visitors to ASSTR don't get tracked by a member database.

No, such orders issued for criminal investigations by government agencies are rarely entered into the public record before a case is brought to trial.
Depending on where in Africa you are, I'd far prefer for the FBI to come get you than for them to request aid from local police.

The date of that post was in 2017, so all branches were Republican at the time. And they accomplished very little with it.

Around the same time frame as my mother, she's a few years older, but they weren't quite so remote. My mom did however ride a horse to high school.
