divorce over the phone

Tsutsuboy

Looking for a story where a middle age man was fired from his company and when he just got out of the company he got a text from his wife that she wants divorce. I also remember that he hire a hooker to take care of him and his place.

What I found amusing later in the story is that she claimed that her phone call should have started a dialogue, while his perspective was that she'd said all that needed to be said. Frankly, I'm with Dexter; if I was told by my wife that she wanted a divorce, I'd assume that the time for talking was way past.

It there were a sequel, perhaps the main character would be named Sinister instead of Dexter. He would be a lawyer or politician instead of an engineer. The same day he would get hired and a text from someone who wants to marry him.

That just wouldn't be right.

his first name would have to be Ba to make good sinister sense

My favorite character in that story was the hooker he was screwing in Vegas. The one female consistent all the way through the story.
