a boy who is ignored in school by everyone, is struck by lightning, and is blinded. Upon waking from a coma, he has to wear extremely dark goggles because his eyes are now photo-sensitive. He starts curing kids on his floor of the hospital ( and secret government types are interested in his case now) that 3 kids who were terminal are now being cured.
