Does this ring a bell with anyone? Brothers would travel to alternate times / universes and hook up with sisters that they rescued. A book would appear under the pillow to teach them some of their psycic (?) powers. At one point an old printing press was used to print books on magic etc. and there was a "battle" with US Govt agencies
I can't even remember the name of the universe it was set in, so any help would be appreciated.
