I'm not sure if it was on SOL, but some time ago I started reading a story about an apparently normal guy being hunted by a female vampire. But, it changes when it turns out he's not that normal and turns the tables on her.
It was longer, but that is as far as I got.
It might be Redeeming Halloween by StarCrawler; that's the first story that comes to mind. Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated in a few years. Still a great read from what I remember.
It might also be the first of his Halloween stories, A Halloween Redemption, which is finished.
Both feature the same main characters in the scenario you describe.
