I cannot remember too much about them except they are set in the old west and each main man has a number of wives and they settle on ranches shown to them by the family of one of the wives who live in the local town. I believe that there are more than one story in the series and in the last one a different main character also ends up with multiple wives and has visions of the main man in the earlier stories and at the end meets the main man and his family and is shown an adjoining ranch which is for sale.
