first story:
The MC while in a forest in Germany (I think) finds
an old wizards home/lab. He gains abilities and the
home/lab test him and accepts him. He then becomes
a wizard trouble-shooter. When someone needs help
a bell will ring or a knock at a door in the
home/lab. When he goes through the door he is
transported to where he need to be to help.
I am not sure if it was on this site or
somewhere else.
second story:
This story was in this forum a while ago.
It about a baseball player that spent his whole
career in the minor league. Was his own agent and
had a very good contract. He also was a partner
in developing housing/condos.
