the title is on the tip of my tongue but can't spit it out...story starts off about an alien seeding a new planet and his skin contaminates the seeding process resulting in 4 sets of twins being made. girl of 1 set of twins born early and is killed by an animal. Later in story her twin is exiled and hears "god" (one of other twins who finds stones that give me special powers/abilities)...any help is appreciated
