found a story called destination: titan by an author called Andrew Michaels a few years back, on a site called bloodygoodreads.com. site no longer exists.

I've reread the story (have a pdf, which I will happily share), and am looking for other stories by the same writer. google doesn't help.

My usual sources have no listings for either title or author. The Wayback Machine does not have a listing for "bloodygoodreads.com" also. What type of site was bloodygoodreads?

"The BloodyGoodRead Book Club" is the text on the pdf. I'm guessing on the website, it may not have been .com

Might have been .co.uk or something...

I looked for all the usual TLD's - no joy. Update: the url was .com (seen from another pdf from a different author - Jon Javits)

Goodreads.com, a site filled with booklovers eager to discuss their favorite books, only lists 2 authors named "Andrew Michaels", though there's 1 Andrew Michael" and several with a different surname (using "Michael" as a middle name).

Since you have the original pdf, does it list the ISBN? You can always look up books that way, and they'll usually list "other books by the author", if he's ever written any others. However, given the lack of references, I'm guessing he only posted a single story to a defunct (and likely unknown) website.

no ISBN, unfortunately. There is reference to a sequel "Soon to come: Survival on Titan", which I'd like to read.

The domain bloodygoodreads.com did exist. It was registered in fall of 2012 with GoDaddy and was probably not extended and thus ran out in fall of 2014, the same as the domain shiftingparadigmspress.com and presumably shiftingparadigmsmedia.com as well. From what I was able to find out, it was registered to a person called Sandra Sedgbeer, who may or may not be the person running sedgbeer.com. That is a lead worth checking out if you're interested in following up, since she seems to be (among other things) an author and has dealt with publishing the works of other writers in the past.
