Lost story

Detail

A man is in Roman times with no recollection of how he got there. He has super-human strength and is immune to poison. He goes from a trade caravan to an outskirt Roman town, to living with a Roman noble and his family. They keep him around thinking he is a God walking among them. This whole time he keeps a young girl he rescued early on by his side. It should be fairly old, and I think it was an incomplete ete/inactive one as well. Any help with the name would be appreciated.

The link was in my post, tied to the tile using the new link function.

it didn't show on my browser as a hotlink, but as plain text of the title, so I posted the URL. Also, I believe in letting the person see the URL I post for security reasons.

On most browsers, you will see the full text of the link on the bottom of the browser if you hover over a hot link.

if it presents as a hotlink or you expect a hotlink, when it doesn't and you don't expect a hotlink you don't check it out. Another reason why I post it as a proper URL and not a hotlink.

It does present as a hotlink on my browser.

Never said it didn't, and it probably displays as an obvious hotlink on a lot of browsers, just doesn't on mine. However, one thing I've learned about the SoL servers is that not every hotlink will display properly, heck, not every URL will display properly all the time. Thus I make the effort to minimise risk. Also, a simple copy and paste of the URL is easier than creating the hotlink.

What browser do you use? Lynx?

Updated:

firefox with personalised colour settings

edit to add - for some reason the hotlinks in the forum don't show as the same colour as the hotlinks on webpages.
