There is a story I read once in the NIS series where a girl was either already pregnant when she had to take place in the program or she was sometime after. Not sure if the pregnancy was because of what she did in the program if it was after she took place in it.

Both types of stories exist as I recall, although I don't recall either taking the story to the conclusion of pregnancy. Most have a hard time completing the first week.
