I remember a story that I think was called The Fateless that kind of matches your description, but it seems to have been removed.
the list on removed stories I have access to only goes back to 25 April, and no story with the word Fate in it is on the list I can see. Nor does anything like you ask about come up in any search using the word.
If you can come up with some more about the story I may be able to try another style of search for it. Was it simple mind control, or magic, or what?

Deleted Stories
Do to family issues, I was required to remove all of my erotic stories and discontinue writing them. When I do get back to writing my stories will be of a more standard nature.
