You may try Kinsella books by Gina Marie Wylie, Donsaii books by Laurence Dahners, and Tatja Grimm book by Vernor Vinge. Actually, Gina Marie has several stories about genius-level girls.

It seems a bit too obvious to mention the Smart Girls Universe by Oyster50

BloodRedRoses

thank u all for helping me find stories i will read them soon thanks for helping =)

madnige

unless she has pulled it to sell it commercially

She has, it's now on Amazon, along with most of the Kinsella universe and The Far Side which also has a female genius mc.

For commercial works, C.J.Cherryh's Foreigner series has a female member of the assassin's guild as a sub-main character.

Not sure if these will be what you are looking for as the request is quite broad:

The stories in Wander Lane's "An Organisation Story" series feature some extraordinary women.

"Blind Sight" by Vlfouquuet is about a girl with powers and brains. Same goes for the unfinished sequel.
https://storiesonline.net/series/901/howly-howard

The Honor Harrington science fiction series is about a tactical genius who kills millions and thousands die due to her actions.

Word of warning: The quality (and my enjoyment) of the books has been declining steadily.

If you mean the stories by Vlfouquuet (Blind Sight, etc.) -- I am sorry to say he passed away.

I thought of another remarkable girl -- Candy Smith-Foster, by David Palmer: see Emergence.

Crumbly Writer

Sorry, but in general, I prefer "smart girl" stories to "serial killer" tales. If there's one thing I hate, it's overused premises about someone spoiling breakfast. 'D (Smart girls are clever enough not to overcook the pancakes!)

I loved that book. I don't know how many times I reread it. I liked the POV style, and the way the layers just kept peeling back. I'm not sure, but I think he wrote one other book as well.

He wrote an unrelated novel Threshold. there was two shorts and, in Analog, a three part sequel to Emergence in 2008.

Updated:

I am surprised nobody has mentioned Wes Boyd's stories, though I admit they slipped my mind initially.

His female characters tend to be intelligent and often fairly strong willed. The best example is probably Jennlynn in

"Magic Carpet",

but there are other contenders.

Smart (business woman, became an American ambassador), killer (though on the side of the angels)?

I'd like to think the protagonist of my current story is somewhat smart. Conclusion coming next week.
