What I can remember is that the man and woman met at a training facility for law enforcement where they are pitted against each other in a test. Then years later they met up again when there is a need for a joint task work as they are on different services. I think the man in Red team or something like that. Also they had a kid that the man did not know about. It sounds like a bobbybrandt story but I am not sure.
