So the novel is about a young man (I think 18-24) who writes a spy novel series so good that gets him in contact with actual spies, who believed him to be an actual old timer spy who retired to write about his exploits. They are shocked its actually from a young man. Then give him a baseball cap with micro camera to film with, he uses it at a hotels pool side and then inside his hotel room. That is where I left off the story.
He wrote a book that he turned into a 3 book series and then inspiration hits and turns it into a 9 (or something) book series. In my mind while reading it I image he made something like Jason Bourne or Tom Clancy novel series (I have never read those before but it was implied).
He keeps his popularity a secret so no one know who he actual is unless he tells them.
It is the usually story, young man gets rich and picks up tons of woman.
