Random thought came up of a story where the Male Protagonist starts working at a run down dairy shop, the owner has to go somewhere to pick something up and the protagonist is like now I'm the assistant manager in only a single day.. Over time fixes up the run down ice cream shop... I've done some basic searches but nothing has shown up like what I was thinking.
