Read a nice swarm story years ago where a very young male was selected to become a ships captain. Had to train his people, continue to hold off attempts by an older captain to make him subservient. Clever moves by protagonist has him getting his crew trained. Out performs the older overbearing male captain. Timeline is early days for Earth of knowing about the Swarm. Thanks!
