G'day all chasing a story I read a while ago
story: A man accidentally witnesses a summoning and in doing so gets some power. The rest of the summoning party chase him. The main antagonist double crosses the rest of the original summoners, killing them taking their power while they hunt the witness. I also recall a car race in the middle of the story.

It's a fight, not a chase, though. So maybe not. Incomplete and inactive, which is too bad.
