Trying to remember a story where someone is brought into a manufacturing company to turn it around. The one thing I remember is that one thing the company produced was coffee makers and the new President had the workers sign what they made to help with their pride. Does that ring a bell for anyone? BTW, it is not the story "Six Month Turnaround" which is another great story with a similar idea.

While the story does involve manufacturing a coffee maker it does not have the turning the company around aspect. It is a new company. Still a very good story. Most of Lazlo Zalezac stories are very good.

I know you've already found the story you were looking for, but the obvious turnaround story here is Six-months Turnaround, by Morgan. Premier only.

Was in the original post, you did at least say who the author was (for the curious).
So Morgan is no longer around? I considered him a very good editor (with colt45 for example) but some of his own stories were excellent technically, but the plots did not match up. IMHO of course.
I don't know if it could be called a turnaround but this story is still good.
