Looking for a story about a dad who is stuck on Friday until he fucks his daughter
Does "stuck on friday" mean he's living the the
same day repeatedly, like "Groundhogs Day'?
Every morning he wakes up to his alarm clock on Friday again.
While there are some exceptions, most alarm clocks do not show a date.
Mine shows the day-of-week, and there's an optional setting to suppress the alarm on weekends.

I said there were exceptions. The vast majority don't show anything more than the time.

Have you tried buying an alarm clock recently? Not easy to find. People use their smartphones. And smartphones show the date.
Me, I have a clock radio. I bet when it breaks it will be tough to find one of those dinosaurs again. But if it were a clock radio, when it clicked on the DJ could announce, "Morning to a beautiful Friday."

I just looked on Amazon, they have dozens listed.

I meant to go into a brick and mortar store.
Hmm, I order all my bricks, mortar and other building supplies online and have them delivered. And why would I go to a hardware store to buy a clock.
J/K. Sorry, I could not resist.
Just go to Walmart. I just bought my sister one as a replacement because her 1968 alarm clock died.

I didn't read to the end and started thinking that Walmart really diversified.
Does it really matter if the clock shows the day? Maybe, just maybe it was like in "Groundhog Day" when the alarm was set to the radio that played the same thing each day.
To please @Dominions Son, make it a calendar that he tears off every evening, yet Friday reappears the next morning.
Or don't bother trying to please everyone. It can't be done.
But to the OP, are you fairly certain that this story was on SOL?
This sounds like a very interesting conversation. Glad you woke up! I once read a story many years ago, when I was young, about a father who woke up every day to an alarm clock that was actually a radio announcing the time โ and every time it was Friday. He already knew what the whole day was going to be like, and each time he tried new things, but it always went back to Friday again.
