I'm trying to find a story I read recently (although unsure as to whether it was written recently) of a male dominant who owned his own boat who picks up a younger woman initially assuming it will be a short fling before it goes on longer. Possibly her sister also comes to visit?

That wasn't the story I was looking for (although an intrigued by it!)
I think the other story was more US or Carribbean, definitely not the UK.
The only other one I can think of is by Wes Boyd and is on his site, "Blanche Tickle Girl". She does not have a sister, his mother makes unwelcome appearances a few times in the story.
The story is rather memorable, if you are not sure then it's probably not the one you are looking for.
Your description matches the second part of the (commercially published, dead-tree) book, "Ghost" by John Ringo. In the first part of the book he foils a mass kidnapping plot by various recognizable Islamic characters. In the second part he owns a boat and has introductory bondage sexy time with two college girls, and possibly their moms, before being called upon to find and capture a nuclear device. (Or set it off, whatever.) In the third part he prevents more nuclear terrorism in various parts of Europe, ending up in Paris.
The second part is set in the Florida Keys and the Bahamas, so definitely has that Caribbean vibe, mon!
