Do not remember much. An isolated village with a strange festival. Maybe in Great Britain area, maybe Scotland/Wales.
Family might have connection to the village or not.
Family might/might not know about the festival.
Each year/generation a young teen girl is selected. Possible a parade in the nude. I think the girl might be made available for the village men, but not sure. Quite sure no sacrifice of life, possible virginity.
The family either forgot about the festival or thought their girl would/could not be selected. They try to complain/stop their girl from being selected, but fail.
