teenage boy strucked by lightning becomes super heroe

eurydike007 ๐Ÿšซ

Hi there,
the subject line summarized the plot for as far as I read into back then. Main character wakes up in a hospital and reacts badly to electricity. Then learns that he can control it. Also he can cure and heal people by manipulating the "bad" energy in them.
Still has problems with thunderstorms.
I did not continue to read it. There seemed to be a "secret super heroe company" later in the story.

I am not sure where I read it. Maybe someone here can help?

Thanks in advance!

It might be Incredible Changes by Dead Writer.

Yes, that was the story. Thank you!

Phil Brown has a similar story called "Because you were cold" https://storiesonline.net/n/47102/because-you-were-cold

It was named "lighting in a bottle" before the rewrite.

It is very close to what you say you remember so the story, but the "secret super heroe company" was a very rich Swiss bank foundation. I find it a better story than Incredible Changes(just my opinion).

Ernest Bywater wrote a story where the main character was struck by lightning, but at the moment I don't remember the name

Hal - the Beginning (original version) and Hal - the Beginning - Revised 2021 by Ernest Bywater (2 versions with slightly different character ages)

If you asked ten minutes ago I would swear I never read that story. Reading the first couple of chapters and I remember every line now. Guess I know what I am reading for the next few hours. Thanks.

Hal
was the story part one but could not add or continue it as the legal issues hit at that time if memory is still working!
