Having one of those days… there's a space story here on SOL that features people holding multi-planet citizenship due to their parents birth planets and being born in space to get a 3rd citizenship. IIRC, two of the planets names are Blue and Purple… the story open with a battle scene where the young man uses a pistol to take down a shuttle full of pirates at a space port, and there a breakaway planet with a bunch of scientists developing cool defensive toys… and my search talents are MIA….aaargh!
