I am trying to remember the name of a story about a your officer who was wounded and lost part of this memory. He could remember everything up till he was 12 years old. When he was discharged from the veteran's hospital he stopped off in a small Texas town and took a job with the local feed store. He got really well with everyone and everyone liked him. Would anyone happen to know the name of the story??
