Hi all
Looking for help to find an old story. MC is a member of a time travelling team for either a corporate or a university. Usually they work as a team but for some reason he gets sent on this trip alone on some sort of snow mobile buggy thing. Natives live in a series of caves or something and later on he finds that the corporate is evil and he leads the natives in war against them.
Hope this jars someone's memory.

Synopsis: Jacob Ryerson is part of a scientific team that is going to step back through time for the very first time in an attempt to study early man. Jacob is a military man and he knows that no plan ever goes the way people intend it to once that plan is implement. Naturally nobody listens to the ex-Special Forces Staff Sergeant and just as naturally everything goes to shit. Thankfully Jacob is along for the ride to help clean up the mess.
The other story, that is sort of similar to what you describe in parts, is by the same Author- Game World.
