The author Wordstothewise disappeared

mikeanew 🚫

This author just disappeared here as well as on Patreon and Literotica, no more traces except for an empty account on Patreon.
Did anybody save his epic saga,
"The vengeful tide" or similar? The latest chapter was just released a few days back.
Thank you.

I don't know the story so I don't have specific information, but a bit of research turned up that "The Vengeful Tide" was the title of the first volume of "The Adventures of a Betrayed Captain" by Wordstothewise. The second volume was titled "The Seas of Wrath".

These books were on Amazon but have now been deleted. GoodReads also has the books listed.

I found copies of both volume on the Z-Lib shadow library, though I can't confirm if the books are downloadable or legitimate. If you use that or another shadow library that would be a good place to look.

Failing that, a Google search found that the story was posted on another story site which I won't name per SOL rules. You should have no trouble finding it. While that copy has also been deleted, an internet archive will probably do better with that site than it would with Patreon.

The Vengeful Tide seems to be available on Amazon under author Francis Hagan

Same title, completely different book.

Francis Hagan writes historical military fiction. The Vengeful Tide (2021) is about the Roman invasion of Britain in the first century CE from the point of view of Titus Flavius Sabinus.

The Vengeful Tide by WordstotheWise is high-fantasy adventure about a pirate with magical powers that give him control over the ocean.

Both books have write-ups on GoodReads, by the way.
